アカオニガゼ / Astropyga radiata

アカオニガゼは、インド洋から太平洋西部にかけて生息する大型のウニ。
直径20cm程度まで成長。

Astropyga radiata(False fire urchin) is a large-size sea urchin found in the Indo-Pacific Ocean.
It grows to up to about 20cm in diameter.

Savigny's sea urchin / アオスジガンガゼ

• アオスジガンガゼ

ガンガゼと違って、アオスジガンガゼは肛門の色が黒い。
Unlike the Black long spine urchin(Diadema setosum), the Savigny's sea urchin (Diadema savignyi) has a black colored anus.

ガンガゼ☆
真ん中のオレンジ色のやつは肛門。
肛門の周りの青色の点は生殖孔で、ここから精子や卵子を放出する。
５個の白い点は目に相当する部分で、ウニはここで光を感じる。

The central orange thing is the anus.
Blue spots around the anus are genital pores, from which sperms or eggs are emitted.
Five white spots are equivalents to eyes, in which a sea urchin senses light.

長い棘はシマシマ模様。
短い棘には毒がある。
The longer spines are banded.
The shorter spines are poisonous.
