カシパンウニの写真を色々見ていたら、甘食が食べたくなったので買ってきて食べた。
When I was looking a lot of photographs of Sand dollar, these photographs gave me an appetite for the Amasyoku.
So I went and bought the Amasyoku, and ate it.


The Amasyoku, is a kind of a Japanese traditional sweet bun shaped like a Sand dollar, has a texture like a stiffer sponge cake.

Eccentric sand dollar / エキセントリックサンドダラー

エキセントリックサンドダラー。
北米の太平洋岸に生息。密集している様子がかわいい。
Eccentric sand dollar.
Distributed in the Northeast Pacific coast.
The state of their being crowd is cute!

タコノマクラ / Clypeaster japonicus

タコノマクラ。
タコノマクラとは命名されているものの、実際にタコがタコノマクラを枕として使用しているかどうかは定かではない。
Clypeaster japonicus.
This sand dollar is called "Takono-Makura" in Japanese, which means "octopus's pillow".
However, it has not been confirmed whether octopuses are using the sand dollar as a pillow.

This sand dollar is called "Sukashi-Kashipan" in Japanese, which means "watermarked sweet bun".
