カラフルなコブダイ。
カリフォルニア州のモントレー湾からメキシコのカリフォルニア湾にかけて生息。
It is similar to the Asian sheepshead wrasse.
The California sheephead is found from Monterey Bay, California to the Gulf of California, Mexico.

オスは、前頭部と顎がコブのようにふくれる。
