ハナゴイは、鮮やかなピンク色をしているが、実際の海中では青っぽく見える。
これは、青い波長の光は海中の深いところまで到達するものの、赤い波長の光は水深の浅いところで吸収されてしまうためである。

Although the Purple Queen Anthias has a bright pink color, it looks bluish in the actual ocean.
This is because the wavelength of the red light is absorbed in the shallow water while blue light penetrates deepest in the ocean.

特徴は触手の先が白いこと。
触手の数は25本っす。

太平洋西部からインド洋のサンゴ礁に生息。
コブヒトデの両隣にいるのは、マンジュウヒトデです！
Horned Sea Star.
It is found on coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific Oceans.
Starfish on both sides of Horned Sea Star are the Pillow cushion star!

サキワレテヅルモヅルという棘皮動物です。
つまりナマコの仲間です！
脚の先端が木の枝のように分岐しています。
A creature in the picture is the echinoderm, known the scientific name as "Banisteriopsis caapi".
In other words, it is a relative of the sea cucumber!!
They have irregularly-branched arms.
