ベラ科の中の最大種で、オスは体長2mに達する。

The Humphead wrasse, also known as the Napoleon wrasse or Napoleonfish.
It is the largest wrasse species, and a male reaches 2 meter in length.



すごい模様。
Psychedelic pattern.

テングカワハギは、太平洋西部からインド洋のサンゴ礁に生息し、サンゴのポリプを食べる。

The orange spotted filefish is found on coral reefs in the Indo-Pacific Oceans and eats coral polyps.

パイプウニ。
夜行性で昼間は岩の間に潜む。
岩陰に潜伏中は、キャッチ結合組織の働きによってトゲは強力に固定さていれる。

Slate pencil urchin.
It is nocturnal and remains hidden behind rocks during the day. While hiding in rocks, needles are fixed strongly by the action of the catch connective tissue.

ニシキエビは、イセエビの仲間の最大種で、成長すると体長60cm、体重5kgに達する。
Ornate spiny lobster, is the largest species among the member of spiny lobster, grows up to be about 60cm in length and 5kg in weight.

確かにイボイボが目玉焼きに見えなくも無い。
